Vicki Nelsen
Vicki began her career as a real estate agent back in 1983. She wanted to give her clients the smoothest transaction in purchasing their home, which is the largest transaction most people make in their life. Part of the buying process includes getting a mortgage. After multiple fall outs do to the mortgage right before closing, Vicki decided to add mortgages to her portfolio of services in order to have more control of the buying process and therefore being the most help to her clients.
Vicki is a real state and mortgage broker, CRS, and GRI. She has owned her own company for years and is now opening a processing center that can be utilized by many loan officers. While the processing is not the largest money maker in a transaction, it is the most crucial. WIthout a good processor staying on top and making sure their is good communication, the process can turn into a nightmare that happens right before closing. The processor works for the loan originator and is limited to the knowledge that can be communicated with the borrower. The processor can talk with the borrower to make sure all the proper documents and information for the application are received and processed to the lender. The processor can also work with the lenders on behalf of the loan officer to shop around for the best deal for the borrower. But, only the loan originator can share the information about rates and loan programs with the borrower.
Vicki is a mother of three children and has one grandchild. She has a son at Baylor that is married with a baby son, and a daughter that attends high school and also attends college so that when she graduates high school, the next day she was also have a 2 year college degree. She also has a son in elementary school. She understands how important it is for a family to transition smoothly into a new home.
